I KNOW all the companies that I have talked to would have loved it. In fact, if Microsoft had had any common sense, they would have charged a yearly fee for those Enterprises who wanted to stay on Windows XP Pro.

So far, I see more problems with Enterprises upgrading to Windows 10 than the trouble is worth. If I am using Microsoft Office 2010 Enterprise, I EXPECTED to be able to select Outlook 2010 for my "Contacts" default, but it is greyed out.Īll these mistakes were made in Windows 8 and 8.1.Ī good thing we have Open Licenses for the Windows 7. Work is for WORK, you want to play with apps from the store, you want fancy windows, GO HOME and play. What part of SECURITY is Microsoft missing? I DONT want apps installed from the Store, NOR to I want the STORE accessible to my users. All the controls are moved AGAIN for management. We WANT An EASILY controllable workstation for our users in the WORKPLACE, NOT HOME!!!. I do NOT get what Microsoft doesn't UNDERSTAND, that the IT Enterprise world DOESNT WANT all the bells and whistles. I am running the 'Windows Technical Preview for Enterprise' build 9841.

When I go to PC Settings > Network, I do not see a Manage option. I do not see a checkīox selection allowing me to 'Connect Automatically'. if I am actually connected to wireless, then it is the only wireless listed. I only see either and image indicating that I am not connected. When I go to PC Settings > Network > Connections > Wi-Fi I do not see a list of available WiFi. I'm connected to a Domain at the moment, but I seem to recall a GUI location to make changes to the WPA password living in one of these areas when I'm not in a domain. Tapping on the network name gives you a 'forget' button. The ability to 'forget' a network lives under PC Settings > Network > Manage. When you get there, you will see a list of Available Wi-Fi Networks, where you can check/uncheck the 'Connect Automatically' box. The 'Connect Automatically' check box lives in PC Settings > Network > Connections > Wi-Fi.
